Time
has a way of catching up with you...at our age now, most of us
aren't into the work that goes along with playing the club
circuit like we did for so many years. Steve and Sean are still
very much into playing the clubs, and for that, they have a live
band called
"Str8 On". Sean also plays with a blues band called
"Cold Ca$h" in his spare time, because he simply can't get
enough playing time in. For Ed, Tubby, Al, and myself,
Crossroads is enough...for me, it's all about writing,
producing, and recording the best music we possibly can, for as
long as we're able. Simple enough!

Music In The Key Of Free!
We have been through the battlefields of independent distribution, and have dragged ourselves back behind friendly lines, bruised and bleeding from the experience. As a result, we are changing our outlook and have decided to simply enjoy making music because doing so is such a big part of who we are. We've just removed our second album, "Sunday Blues" from retail distribution, and our first release, "Blueprint" will not be renewed in December - it will then join "Sunday Blues" in "retail retirement".
With that change in place, people may wonder, "But if I want these albums, how will I get them?"
Easy - we're going to GIVE them to you. We've decided that the world of Indie distribution is simply not for us, and so we've created download links...you click on the album cover, a download begins, you unzip the contents and add them to your iTunes or other MP3 player of your choice. And, as of February 10, 2012, we've gone ahead and activated the download link for "New Horizons" as well, so ALL the albums below are yours to enjoy.

Out Of The Dark (BATW)
Out Of The Dark was something of a transition album....while it features some of the original BATW full band tracks, it also includes some of the early work that Al and I did later on, which ultimately led to the formation of Crossroads. For that reason, we've chosen to add it here as one of the free albums that you can download.
Blueprint (Crossroads)
Blueprint was our debut album as Crossroads...even though we were just starting to kick ideas around, this album features some really interesting tunes, and started our trend of having "something for everyone"...we do write a diverse group of songs, and have since the start.
Sunday Blues (Crossroads)
Sunday Blues was our second release....here, we stretched our writing out a bit more, adding some clear tips of the hat to our musical influences, but the songs are all uniquely our own.
New Horizons (Crossroads)
New Horizons is our newest release (June, 2011), and reunites Steve Lally, the powerhouse drummer from BATW with Al, Ed, and Bob, and also brings in Sean Magee, who is an amazing guitarist (as you will hear...). This album features our best efforts to date in the crafts of writing, playing, and recording music. Str8 On - The Samples
Steve and Sean, along with Dorian and George, are in a cover
band called Str8 On. Cover bands are big in the New England
region, and there are plenty of them, but when you hear how
tight these folks are, and how good they sound, you'll agree
it's going to be a short ride to the top of the heap for them!
